These channels, known for their nutrient-rich waters and strong currents, create ideal conditions for encountering a diverse array of marine life, from vibrant coral gardens to thrilling pelagic encounters.
One renowned dive spot near Guraidhoo is Kandooma Thila, a submerged pinnacle teeming with life. This site features stunning coral formations cascading down the sides of the pinnacle, attracting an abundance of marine creatures, including schools of fusiliers, snappers, and anthias. Divers can also spot larger species such as napoleon wrasse, reef sharks, and eagle rays patrolling the waters.
Another must-visit dive site in the vicinity of Guraidhoo is Cocoa Corner, located near the channel entrance. This site offers the chance to witness exhilarating drift dives along the channel edge, where divers can observe pelagic species such as grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and even the occasional manta ray or whale shark.
As a certified diver, join our daily guided boat dives with small groups: Boat Dives usually take place in the morning and in the afternoon. In the morning two dives can be done at two different diving spots, and in the afternoon a boat trip with 1 dive. Night dives are available upon request.
