One of the best Manta season ever 💙
our group joined the presence of this gentle mantas all the dive long including the safety stop 🙏🏼
💡 Specially in this time of the year, on this side of the Maldives 🇲🇻, mantas come together in large numbers to create mating aggregations or “mating balls.”
During these congregations, it’s common to see the males circling and chasing females trying to grab their pectoral fins with the mouths & making bubble trails behind them.
