Reaching the island is part of the journey: fly in by seaplane for a jaw-dropping aerial view of the atolls (extra charge applies), or take a domestic flight to Dharavandhoo, followed by a high-speed boat ride through turquoise waters straight to paradise.
The best part? You’ll enjoy 6 full days of diving at some of the most amazing dive sites in the Maldives. See sharks, turtles, eagle rays, and colorful coral reefs. Divepoint Meedhupparu offers 3 boat dives every day. In the morning, around 08:30, we head out for 2 dives and return just in time for lunch. These morning trips usually go farther out.
On Meedhupparu we have beautiful soft corals, huge schools of fish and manta rays can be observed here all year round! Due to the island location in the middle of the atoll, we have the advantage of being able to go to the eastern and western outer reef side. In the afternoon around 14:30, there’s another boat trip with 1 dive, usually to a calmer and easier dive site.
Night dives from the boat are available with a minimum of 4 participants.
The first dive of your stay is always an orientation dive at an easy site, where you can calmly check your equipment, fine-tune your buoyancy, and practice deploying your surface marker buoy.
