Rannalhi Reef Restoration Project – Once again DivePoint Rannalhi is pioneering our new project dedicated to the adoption of a coral.
Install your own coral frame at Rannalhi’s house reef and watch them grow. Every 6 months you will receive regular updates with photos to personally check its growth and condition. More over a sponsor’s certificate is stating the size and frame number, congratulating you to now “own” your very own piece of coral reef in the Indian Ocean & supporting us in protecting the environment.

Frame POPPY (0,90 x 0,90 x 0,60 m): $150
Frame TULIP (1,20 1,20 x 0,76 m): $250
Frame ROSE (1,50 x 1,50 x 0,90 m) : $350

💙Mating takes place in warm waters and often around the cleaning stations. When males are in heat, they tend to “casually” wander in the stations in search of a receptive female; the latter is likely to release sex hormones in the water to communicate its willingness to mating.
The courtship goes on for even weeks.

During this time males congregate around a receptive female and compete to mate with her.
If you witness the “train mating” with over 20 males, one behind the other, following the female’s movements , you will have just witness one of the most incredible show of your life

🦈Nurse sharks are present in all the Maldives 🇲🇻 & near Guraidhoo we have many visible almost every day.
🦈Nurse Shark can grow up to 3 meters in length and weigh more then 200kg!
🦈Baby nurse sharks spend around 9 months developing in their mother’s uterus.
🦈They mainly eat lobster, crabs, squid or fishIn the wild they can live up to 30 years old.
