CO2-Reduzierer, Nitrox for free, Kompressor von L&W).
Im South Male Atoll haben wir den großen Vorteil, dass wir eine Menge hervorragender Tauchplätze in der Nähe unseres Zentrums haben. Zu allen Tauchplätzen fahren wir nicht länger als ca. 45 min. Sowohl für Anfänger als auch für die „ganz Erfahrenen“ – wir haben die Möglichkeit, bei Thilas oder Giris zu tauchen, wo wir ganz bequem Tauchgänge bis zu einer maximalen Tiefe von 18 m machen und Anemonenfelder erkunden können, soweit das Auge reicht.
Besuche die spektakulärsten Plätzen des Atolls wie Guraidhoo Corner, Cocoa Corner and Kandooma Thila. Hier findest du auch eine Putzerstation für Haie, Adlerrochen, Napoleons und riesige Schildkröten auf dem Riffdach. An den westlichen Außenriffen wirst du während des gesamten Tauchgangs von einem großen Schwarm Fledermausfische begleitet. Direkt vor der Insel Guraidhoo liegt der Emmadi Giri, auch Manta Point genannt. Mantarochen können dort von Mai bis Oktober gesehen werden.
Die Idee schlummert schon lange in den Köpfen von Marcus und Jerry – ein Ort, an dem Taucher zusammenkommen, ihre Tage gemeinsam beginnen und abends die gemeinsam erlebten Tauchgänge Revue passieren lassen.
Nun wird dieser Traum auf der einheimischen Insel Guraidhoo endlich Wirklichkeit!
Das Divepoint Residence befindet sich gerade im Bau und soll nun endlich im Herbst 2026 offiziell eröffnet werden.
Unser Team besteht aus einheimischen Tauchguides, die nach unserem Slogan „Dive with Friends“ leben und tauchen. Hier erwartet dich eine entspannte und familiäre Atmosphäre mit bestem Service sowie erholsame Tauchgänge, geführt von unserem motivierten und kompetenten Team. Das Tauchpersonal ist zu 100% vom Tauchen begeistert!
Auf der einheimischen Insel Guraidhoo zeigen sich die Malediven von einer anderen Seite. Du lebst mit den Einheimischen auf der Insel und lernst ihre Kultur und Bräuche kennen. Auf Guraidhoo gibt es mittlerweile die unterschiedlichsten Kategorien von Unterkünften. Vom sehr preisgünstigen gemieteten Zimmer bis zum normalen Hotelzimmer ist alles möglich.
🌱💙 500 Trees, One Community, One Ocean
In celebration of World Ocean Day, we turned our commitment to the ocean into action on land.
Over the last two days, together with the incredible Divepoint Guraidhoo team, members of the Guraidhoo Council, WDC representatives, and dedicated community volunteers, we planted 500 Kashikeyo trees across our island.
As a dive center, our lives are deeply connected to the ocean. Every day, we witness the beauty of our reefs, the importance of healthy ecosystems, and the responsibility we all share in protecting them.
While our work often happens underwater, we know that caring for the environment begins above the surface too.
We are proud that Divepoint Guraidhoo provided all 500 Kashikeyo trees for this initiative, helping create a greener future for our island and contributing to the long-term health of the environment that supports both our community and our marine life.
This was more than a tree-planting event. It was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Seeing so many people working side by side, digging, planting, and investing in the future of Guraidhoo, was truly inspiring.
