Watersports Center

The watersports center is located close to the North jetty and not far from the reception and the pool area. The station is run by our german base management and the team speaks German, Dhivehi, and English. Because Meedhupparu for the moment is the only Resort in the Raa atoll, there are a lot of untouched reefs which are ideal for snorkeling, diving or just as desert sandbanks which invite you to go for catamaran excursions. We offer snorkel equipment rental and we make daily snorkeling excursions, where you can very often see dolphins, mantas, turtles and much more. Come and explore with us as well sometimes new spots as there are still plenty of them here in the Raa Atoll. 
Meedhupparu is surrounded by a wonderful sandy beach and a big lagoon ideal for windsurfing, Canoeing and for many other water sport activities.

You can profit during your stay here also from the big lagoon while you go for windsurfing or book a catamaran course or just enjoy a sunset sail with our instructors.

If you need a little bit more action we offer jet ski rental or guided Jetski tours to see different uninhabitant islands, dolphins, mantas and more, water-ski, wakeboard, kneeboard and fun tube rides. If you want to know the actual conditions just check at : "Wind guru" & "Magic Seaweed"

To complete our sports activities we also offer traditional Hatha to Yoga (Rishikesh Class) in groups and in private. All levels of experience are welcome and our certificated Yoga teacher is glad to show you the secrets of the Hatha or to initiate yoga. All yoga sessions are 90 minutes and contain Asana, breathing skills. Yoga is not always available.
