Awarded diving paradise

Raa Atoll is one of the northernmost resort atolls of the Maldives. Here we offer daily boat dives, with one tank or two tank possibilities. The pristine reefs of Raa Atoll are still in a great condition. We were the only diving island in this atoll for many years and now there are still very few. Meaning you get to enjoy these dive sites for yourselves and just with your close diving buddies. Very nice soft corals, huge schools of fish and manta rays can be seen here all year round. We have the advantage of being able to drive through our island location in the middle of the atoll to the east and west side of the reef, so we can watch manta rays almost all year round. Let yourself be inspired by this pristine underwater world.

Top 6 - Dive Site

Labyrinth

 

Distance: 65 minutes
Medium-sized Thila which has crumbled over the centuries and has thereby formed wonderful canyons and tunnels in the reef. The Thila distinguishes itself with its huge schools of fishes and coral growth (soft- and hard corals). A big number of bat fishes accompanies you on every dive on this reef.
Grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks, big sting rays and big napoleons can be admired at this great dive spot. Trigger fishes, fusiliers, glass fishes, groupers, eagle rays, morays are also seen here.

Top 6 - Dive Site

The Wall (Vandhoo Kanuoli)

 

Distance: 40 minutes
Very nice reef with beautiful coral growth. The edge of the reef starts at about 10 m, afterwards there is a drop off with caves from 10 m to 60 m and more. This impressive reef wall is covered with yellow and pink soft corals (these are special for this reef, beside the also otherwise impressive scenery) as well as big fan corals.
There are lots of fishes on this reef, represented by big napoleons, eagle rays, turtles on the reef top and at the edge, up to 2-m-gigantic tunas and schools of snappers. In the summer this is one of the Manta-Points where you can spend time with these beautiful animals.

Top 6 - Dive Site

Kottefaru Kammati

 

Distance: 40 minutes
Very nice reef with beautiful coral growth, the edge of the reef starts at about 7 m, afterwards there is a drop off from 20 to 50 m and more. The wall is covered with yellow soft corals and gorgonian fans. We quite often meet big napoleons, eagle rays, turtles and big tunas at this reef. Also schools of snappers, banner fishes, big groupers and much more. During the summer month there is a chance to meet mantas on the top reef.

Top 6 - Dive Site

Fenfushi Thila

 

Distance: 45 minutes
A smaller Thila with the top reef at 3 m, sloping down to 45m and more. Nice overhangs from 14 m to 28 m. You can see big tunas, red toothed triggers, sweet lips, blue striped-snappers, napoleons, turtles, groupers, jack fish. Often big schools of glass fishes. On the top anemones, masked banner fishes and bearded scorpion fishes.

Top 6 - Dive Site

SOLAR CORNER

 

Distance: 60 minutes
This dive site offers the opportunity to observe Mantas very close by. The cleaning station is located on the western edge of the Raa Atoll. The reef top starts at 10 m, the cleaning station itself is on 15 m. In addition to the spectacular Mantas, you can encounter white-tip sharks and nurse sharks.
