The Resort
This island is world famous amongst surfers for its waves 'Lohis' and was formerly known as 'Lohifushi'. The fish-rich house reef, which spreads out in front of the pier, is ideal for snorkelers and divers. It is also the perfect place for families to holiday together.
Location
Hudhuran Fushi is located on the east side of North Male Atoll and is approximately 800 meters long and 400 meters wide. The transfer from the airport takes about 30 minutes by speedboat. The resort consists of two separate hotel complexes:
The Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi (4 stars) and the Adaaran Prestige Ocean Villas (5 stars).
Hotel
The hotel features an open and welcoming reception area with numerous seating areas, an Internet café, a jewelery shop and a souvenir shop. There is also a doctor with a small medical center on the island. Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas and at the diving center. The main restaurant, Banyan, which organizes European, Asian and typical Maldivian theme evenings, takes care of all your culinary needs. In addition to the main restaurant, the Sunset Bar and Restaurant offers exquisite cuisine, as does the Hiyala Bar at the north end of the island. The Lohis Bar, with its wooden terrace and perfect view of the waves, is the ideal place to watch surfers whilst enjoying a cool drink and / or snack. Near the reception and next to the main bar is a swimming pool and bar with a separate pool for children. Next to the pool is a sun terrace where you can relax.
Accomodation
The island has a total of 165 rooms. The Garden Villas (32 sqm) are located in terraced bungalows in the interior of the island and have a bathroom with shower and toilet, hair dryer, coffee and tea making facilities, safe, TV, telephone, minibar, air conditioning, ceiling fan and a furnished terrace overlooking the garden. The Beach Villas (approximately 43 square meters) along the island coast have a semi-open bathroom with bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, safe, minibar and a furnished wooden terrace facing the sea. The 37 luxurious water bungalows are equipped with bath, shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, Internet access, telephone, minibar and a safe. They also offer beautiful views of the turquoise blue sea, a terrace and direct access to the lagoon. The guests of the water villas enjoy exclusive access to the Sunset restaurant.
Food
All meals are served buffet style in the main restaurant "Banyan". Morning snacks are available in the lobby area, as well as a midnight snack and afternoon tea and coffee. An unlimited selection of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is available from 10am to midnight. The "Sunset" restaurant by the sea is exclusively for the guests of the water bungalows. For a fee and reservation, other guests can enjoy their lunch and dinner here. Special offers like dinner on the beach etc. are also offered for a fee.
Entertainment
Enjoy beach volleyball, billiards, badminton, table tennis or football. The use of the tennis and squash court is free of charge (floodlight for a fee). Dive with DivePoint in the Indian Ocean or discover the wider range of the DivePoint Water Sports Center. Evening entertainment includes live music, a DJ and karaoke events. The hotel complex also includes a large, chargeable spa center.
